Our product is the ‘Hoody Buddy,’ a detachable hood that adults and children can wear with any outfit! Its fleece lining keeps you warm and cosy and its waterproof layer keeps out the rain.
Our Story
​Our idea started as many of our jackets do not have a hood and we both have been caught out with the rain soaking our hair, so we thought of a detachable hood that attaches to any item of clothing. Better still, once the rain stops you can put it back in your bag. This dilemma was not unique to us. After a casual conversion with a friend who has a younger sibling with sensory issues, our idea grew. Our friend told us that her brother doesn’t wear jackets with hoods. Her parents were under increasing pressure to find a solution. This was the start of our journey!
